Older than the word diversity itself, (14th century), evidence of the earliest writings on the African continent dates back over 6,000 years, older than The University of al-Qarawiyyn, in Fez, Morocco, the oldest university in the world.
Founded nearly 60 years ago in 1967 by Haki R. Madhubuti, Third World Press (TWP), is considered by many as the oldest independent, black owned book publishing company in the United States... nothing new under the sun.
